We are looking for a UI Designer to help & work within the team to help design aspects of our online cloud offering and its visual content to provide an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive web experience for our enterprise level users. 

The candidate will be expected to assist in creating visuals (including graphics, icon designs and web page layouts) for the UI. Use graphics skills and knowledge of interface design to improve User Interface/ User Experience design, data visualisation and visual communication. To assist in the continuous review and improvement of the UI Cloud market offering to ensure the best user experience and a modern, professional aesthetic. 

Responsibilities include: 

• creative graphic solutions to be used for web content/ printed media,
• understand brand identity, 
• keen to gain an understanding of the global cloud computing market and our primary competitors, 
• experience with Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create posters, brochures, flyers, web banners, icons, slide content, visual metaphors, GIFs, graphics etc, 
• keen to gain an understanding of the cloud hosting industry and the type of products sold by us and others to aid creation of relevant material, 
• competitor research and analysis to gain understanding of how things are communicated /ordered /visualised in the cloud computing industry to ensure an up-to-date user experience,
• strong communication skills and excellent written and spoken English, 
• organised, enthusiastic, focused and dedicated,

Experience Required

• Graphic design and visual communication project work. 
• Web design work or experience. 
• Understanding of working within brand guidelines. 
• Some knowledge but not essential, experience of Axure, Omnigiraffe, balsamiq also useful 

We expect the candidate to be familair with the use of Adobe Creative Suite with particular reference to Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Web design knowledge/ experience. Visual creativity and strong graphics skills. Use instruction, initiative and attention to detail to create stunning visuals, educated to a HND / degree level or equivalent.
