Team Description & Purpose of Role

Our client is recruiting a Senior Automation Architect into the Cloud Automation/DevOps team. The team is responsible for developing products and internal tools which facilitate application deployment, network management, and value added services for the client’s cloud platform

Job Responsibilities

The role will involve working on the deployment automation projects (Lync deployment, CoreOS cluster deployment, MSSQL cluster deployment), network provisioning automation, creating the company’s DNS management system, and the global load balancing functionality for VDC. 

The candidate will be personally responsible to validate the product designs from the networking perspective, and have an active role in implementing the aforementioned products. 

Experience Required

- High level networking skills (above Cisco CCDA, having the certificate is not mandatory, but appreciated) 

- Solid Linux administration skills 

- Senior Puppet knowledge 

- Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python (candidates with a strong knowledge in other scripting/programming languages will be considered as well) 

- Excellent written English skills 

Good to have 

- Windows administrator skills 

- Experience with Jenkins
