Team Description & Purpose of Role The IT 2nd line engineer maintains IT infrastructure and desktop environment of the company according specified service levels, participates on IT projects implementing agreed designs, working independently or as a part of larger team, if needed cross departmental. The engineer actively checks the environment for its health and ensures the pro-active actions are implemented following IT change management process. The engineer periodically reviews capacity of systems and provides inputs for capacity extensions and budget planning. The engineer implements necessary security and functional patches t---guarantee secure and operational desktop build.
Job Responsibilities - Management of IT infrastructure s---that IT services can be delivered t---level of quality required for the current and future service levels, it includes mainly: ---Monitoring of systems ---Proactive checks and patch management ---Planned works t---improve system functions ---Regular maintenance of system - Processing support related tasks / incidents within agreed SLAs - Implementation of IT projects for new service delivery or participation on projects depending on the assigned role for the project - Documentation of implemented changes, both the setup and procedures levels. - Maintenance of controls and procedures s---that business continuity and disaster recovery is maintained. - Management of IT services, ie. data/communications, servers, available documentation, licenses. - Management of company’s desktop environment ---Desktop build ---SW deployments ---Patch management - Behaves according the IT code of conduct - On-going education from all available sources - On-call duty in rota system with other team members

Experience Required - 3+ years of server administration experience - Windows server system, incl. advanced technologies - Active Directory infrastructure - Microsoft application servers ---Exchange ---System Center family (SCOM, DPM, SCCM) ---SQL - Networking technology (TCP/IP based), including VPN, WiFi, authentication - SAN concepts and technologies - Microsoft desktop operating systems including Office suite - Windows PowerShell scripting - ITIL basics and process awareness - Good written and spoken English communication skills
