It delivers intelligent, customer-controlled network services to a diverse range of businesses including mobile operators, service providers and enterprise customers. Unencumbered by debt, and with established operations throughout mainland Europe and North America, Our client also owns and operates dense city networks throughout Europe’s major business centres. You will be part of a team of 9 developers, interacting with other teams and parts of the business across the European footprint. Purpose of the role: Maintenance and further development of our client’s customer facing Web Portal with a major focus on user experience. This role will require the successful candidate to work autonomously on certain assignments, whilst being part of a close-knit, medium sized team for some new projects. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the design and implementation of the front end web sites with responsibility for usability and cross browser compatibility. Integrating Front-End designs with both Microsoft ASP.NET based systems and Unix/Perl systems. Experience Required including:
Solid experience in developing sites with users as the focus. Experience of large scale Internet based solutions essential Proven track record of delivering enterprise quality web front ends and integrating with Windows. (Unix experience is considered a bonus). Experience of the following preferable but not essential:
Person Specification Flexible, proactive individual with a web development background. Responsible person capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously. Able to work within tight time-scales and manage priorities as required. Willingness to develop knowledge in the area of next generation technologies. Must be able to think out of the box and empathise with the intended user audience. Team player. Duration:
