Team Description & Purpose of Role

The Information and Process team is responsible for the management of Systems and IT Projects as well as overseeing the development of Interoute’s corporate processes. The team is responsible for information management, project management, business analysis and quality assurance.

Job Responsibilities

- End to end Management of Information Systems projects 

- Act as liaison for stakeholders for different business areas 

- Identify, document and maintain Business Cases 

- Manage multiple projects at the same time 

- Build and maintain effective cross-functional project teams 

- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables 

- Define project tasks and resource requirements 

- Work with Business Analysts, Solution Architects and systems development teams to deliver projects to requirements 

- Plan and schedule project timelines 

- Track and report on project deliverables using appropriate tools 

- Prepare appropriate documents and records for all above responsibilities

Experience Required

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Project Management of business systems change projects or similar 

- Competent in the application of PRINCE2 or PMI project methodology (formal certification required) 

- Experience working in an environment with complex stakeholder structures 

- Background in business analysis, with strong analytical skills 

- Experience with project management software including Microsoft Project 

- Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential 

- Excellent communicator both written and verbal 

- Fluent English – written and spoken

- Able to work within tight time-scales and manage priorities as required 

- Willingness to develop knowledge in the area of next generation technologies

- A good team player but able to take initiative and provide leadership where appropriate
