A leading financial services client is seeking a permanet HTML 5 UI JavaScript developer who has interest in building modern UIs and their associated technologies, particularly HTML5. £50000 - £80000 per annum + Benefits for the right candidate.

Focus on web applications - especially single-page-applications, not web sites. 

Technical skills required are: 

• Strong knowledge of internet communication protocols and data formats, e.g. REST, JSON, HTTP, etc. 
• Competent database knowledge including transactions, indexing and SQL in different dialects.
• Strong experience in JavaScript libraries with a focus on writing modular JavaScript. 
• Experience with Single Page App development
• Experience of one or more JavaScript testing frameworks, Angularjs, Reactjs or BackboneJS or other
• Strong knowledge of some of the leading Java frameworks. 
• Strong knowledge in web build systems and tooling. 
• Strong knowledge of CSS3 and CSS frameworks. 
• Exposure to server-side technologies, e.g. Java/Tomcat or C#/WCF would be a distinct advantage.
